Larry Berry is an Eisner Award-nominated design director with over 20 years of diversified experience as a director, art director, designer, and production artist.  Presently working as the Director, Design, Marketing & Creative Services for DC Comics. Strategically directs and performs digital design graphics, app design, conversion of print comics to digital platforms such as iBooks, Amazon, Kindle and Comixology and DCUniverse. Oversees and directs Digital Design team on digital first comics, licensed comics and custom comics. Collaborates with internal Direct to Consumer Marketing, Business Development, and Digital Editors to help current and future product strategy for online, mobile and social media. Collaborates with outside custom clients such as General Mills, Mercedes Benes, KFC, Snickers, Walmart, BestBuy to enhance our custom and special projects footprint.  

 

Designs marketing materials to support all DC Comics publishing efforts (DC Comics, Kid books & Young Adult, Vertigo,). This includes all digital marketing campaigns (Goodreads, Edelweiss, all social media platforms), print marketing campaigns (house ads, posters, banners), Website takeovers & animation campaigns. Provides designs for DC marketing magazines (Previews, DC NATION, DC essentials). Supports Publishing Publicity for all company graphic announcements and events. Provides designs for DC custom initiatives, print & digital. Supports special projects for packaging PDQ’s (Walmart) and all other assorted special project material that supports DC Comics publishing efforts.
